About Angela

As a child, I would walk around with my hands formed like a camera lens around my eyes, and I would "take pictures" everywhere I went. I've been a photographer for as long as I can remember. My first camera was a Nikon 35 millimeter, and boy did I love that camera like the stars love the moon. It went everywhere I went.

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace" -1 Peter 4:10

{What to Expect}:
I specialize in Lifestyle Photography. What is that you ask? Lifestyle Photography is about capturing images that reveal a story. The images may resemble snapshots, but everything from the lighting, to location, and styling details are deliberately thought out to support a certain mood. There is arranging involved but not over-staging. As a Lifestyles Photographer, I want to capture your relationships and connections in my works, and preserve them forever. I want you to own those memories, and be able to go back to that time and place any time you like.

{ 10 things about me}
1. I worked as a newborn photographer at the Williamsburg, Sentara Hospital. I loved serving families as they welcomed their new additions.

2. I am a homeschooling mom with four children, and wife of fourteen years to my "dashing debonair".

3. My husband and I have lived on both coasts a handful of times, we're not in the military, just both have wandering souls.

4. I am a follower of Christ, He is my Strength, and Guiding Light.

5. I am studying Green and Sustainable Management at Liberty University.

6. When I grow up and get my own land, I want to be an organic farmer... but I'd settle for an organic homestead.

7. I have a few very best friends, they are lovely, and I love them!

8. I am a naturalist, I heal with herbs, oils, and organic foods.

9. I like Math...

10. I've owned two other businesses that didn't have my heart, and they are both of course no longer in existence.

Over the past many years, I have struggled with the parable about the three trusted servants, and the talents (Matthew 25:14-30). I will humbly admit that I have been burying my talents. I have been trying to keep them safe from criticism and self doubt. Now, with a renewed change in the spirit of my mind, I'm giving all I have. I'm not new to photography, but I am kind of new to using my talents to gain prosperity and to serve others.
